At North Carolina Virtual Academy (NCVA), your child can learn in the ways that are right for them—at home, on the road, or wherever there’s an internet connection. NCVA is open to full-time, North Carolina residents in grades K–12. We offer a personalized approach to education; North Carolina-licensed teachers; dual enrollment and community college partnerships; Honors and AP® courses; and credit recovery courses.

Scholarship Opportunities

We believe every child deserves a great education and are ready to help you get the financial aid you need. As a North Carolina resident, you may be eligible for financial assistance to help offset tuition through the Opportunity Scholarship Program or the Education Student Accounts (ESA+) Program. In many cases, scholarship awards cover the full cost of tuition at Coast to Mountain Preparatory Academy (CM Prep)!

School Opening and Location

MU Prep held its inaugural first day of school on August 3, 2022, for Indiana residents only. For the 2023–2024 school year, MU Prep has expanded to offer our innovative, virtual full-time enrollment to students in grades K–10 in more than 30 states. We will also offer grades 11 and 12 in the coming years. MU Prep-Indiana offers a fully virtual program to students across the state and a hybrid learning option, including in-person learning at Marian University in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana. Conveniently located, the beautiful campus is an inspiring place to learn and reflect. MU Prep hopes to expand hybrid learning models to other locations in the future.

At GCPA, your child can experience an education that empowers them to shape their own path and pursue their passions.
