Cyber Academy of South Carolina (CASC) is a full-time online public school for K–12 students. We’re dedicated to inspiring and empowering students through an education experience tailored to each child’s needs.

Our Story

CASC is open to full-time, South Carolina residents in grades K–12. We offer a personalized approach to education, dual credit opportunities for high school students, career and college prep for grades 9–12, and 15+ credit recovery courses.

The Support You and Your Student Need

Our teachers are committed to helping your family succeed with online learning. They provide instruction and support as your child works through the curriculum. And they keep the lines of communication open through email, phone, online “Class Connect” sessions, and online and in-person activities. You’ll also receive textbooks and other hands-on materials delivered right to your door! These offline materials complement the interactive online elements of the lessons and vary by grade and course.

Career and College Prep

You can use your middle and high school years to figure out where you want to go and how to get there. In addition to core courses, you’ll take career-focused classes to explore your options and find your passion—all while earning your high school diploma. Discovering what you want to do now can prepare you to dive into a career right out of high school or help you make the right decision about your college major. Career fields include Business Management & Administration; Education & Training; Finance; Health Sciences; Human Services; Information Technology; and Marketing.

Carolus Online Academy (COA), as approved by the South Carolina Public Charter School District, is a tuition-free online public school serving grades K–8 with plans to expand to grade 12 in the 2024–2025 school year. We’re dedicated to inspiring and empowering South Carolina students through personalized, at-home learning.

Our Story

COA is open to full-time South Carolina residents in grades K–8 during the 2023–2024 school year, with plans to expand to grades K–12 beginning in Fall 2024. We offer personalized learning; a highly interactive curriculum; licensed teachers trained in virtual instruction; online and offline lessons and materials; career and college exploration for all grades; and social events, extracurricular activities, and clubs.

COA gives your student a unique opportunity to discover career interests in a virtual learning environment. Our career and college prep program helps students gain significant advantages for the future. Middle schoolers can explore career fields, giving them a clearer path toward choosing high school electives. Whether they already know where they’re headed or are just beginning to find their way, this program can help get them where they want to go. Beginning in the fall of 2024, high school students will be able to take career-focused courses in high-demand career fields such as: Health & Human Services; Hospitality & Tourism; and Marketing.

School Opening and Location

MU Prep held its inaugural first day of school on August 3, 2022, for Indiana residents only. We will also offer grades 11 and 12 in the coming years. MU Prep-Indiana offers a fully virtual program to students across the state and a hybrid learning option, including in-person learning at Marian University in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana. Conveniently located, the beautiful campus is an inspiring place to learn and reflect. MU Prep hopes to expand hybrid learning models to other locations in the future.
