Destinations Career Academy of Wisconsin (Destinations) is an innovative, tuition-free online school for grades 9–12 that combines core academics with industry-relevant, career-focused electives—giving students a jump-start on their college and career goals. While working toward their high school diplomas, students can choose from a variety of courses in high-demand career fields. Wisconsin-licensed teachers provide live, online instruction and tailor teaching to student needs. Our Story

With 1,321 graduates since 2009, WIVA is open to full-time, Wisconsin residents in grades K–12. We offer National Honor Society, AP® courses and AVID college readiness program, and an Academic Excellence Scholarship program for qualified 12th graders.

Insight School of Wisconsin (ISWI) is a full-time online public school for students in grades 9–12. We’re dedicated to inspiring and empowering students through an education experience tailored to their needs.

Our Story

ISWI is open to full-time, Wisconsin residents in grades 9–12 who are 20 years old or younger on the first day of the school year and who meet the definition of “at risk”. We offer credit recovery and career-readiness courses, work experience opportunities, an extended school year option, and a student mentor team.

our students can learn in the ways that work best for them. Class Connects provide one-to-one student–teacher meetings and live instructional sessions.

To address each student’s individual needs, we give them a benchmark test to assess their skills in various subjects. From there, we develop an Individualized Learning Plan to place students in appropriate courses, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and chart their progress. And if a student needs to recover a credit, our credit recovery courses can help make that happen.

We also help students map out career and higher education goals by offering a college and career planning tool and personalized support.

School Opening and Location

MU Prep held its inaugural first day of school on August 3, 2022, for Indiana residents only.
